U.S. EV registrations surge 60% in Q1, driven by Tesla, Ford, new Korean models

EV registrations in the U.S. rose 60 percent in the first quarter to 158,689, representing 4.6 percent of total light-vehicle registrations, according to Experian. Tesla led the way, but Hyundai-Kia made big gains with new models.
