Auto trade group stresses privacy, tech challenges in ‘disturbing trend’ of carjackings

In testimony to a Senate panel Tuesday, the Alliance for Automotive Innovation said its members — which include most major automakers in the U.S. — have been meeting to examine the issue and improve their collaboration with law enforcement.
